PETG Panels & Shelter Configurations

The Lancaster Eco Utility Shelter is supplied with clear UV2 PETG rear panels, UV-stabilised on both sides to help reduce exposure to wind and rain while maintaining visibility and allowing natural light through.

For use as a smoking shelter, half-height side panels can be added to provide additional protection from wind and rain while keeping the shelter sufficiently open. Under smoke-free legislation, a roofed shelter must not be substantially enclosed, meaning at least 50% of the total surrounding wall area must remain permanently open. Nearby walls and structures should also be considered when positioning the shelter.

Full-height side panels provide greater enclosure and are available for alternative, non-smoking applications.

Hot-Dip Galvanised & Optional Powder-Coated Finishes

The 50 × 25 mm RHS mild-steel frame is hot-dip galvanised after fabrication to ISO 1461:2022 as standard, providing long-term corrosion protection and a low-maintenance finish. Learn more on our Why Hot-Dip Galvanising page.

Installation & Assembly

The plate-mounted shelter is supplied as a flat-pack kit, complete with the required frame and panel assembly fixings. Designed for secure installation on a suitable hard surface, ground anchors are available separately at a small additional cost. We’ll contact you after ordering to discuss the ground-anchor options for your installation.
