Multi Walkway Overview

Multi Walkways provide a practical, flexible solution for creating covered routes and sheltered outdoor areas. From pedestrian walkways and building connections to covered equipment zones or staff areas, Urbanfab Multi Walkways offer a versatile, professional shelter system built around your requirements.

Whether configured longways as an extended tunnel or arranged in a block formation, the modular design can be tailored to suit different site layouts and applications.

Multi Walkway Key Features

Modular Walkway Shelter Design

The modular walkway can be designed around the available site space, with extensions added in either the 1.5 m or 2 m direction.

Covered Outdoor Protection

The pitched roof provides practical weather protection for pedestrians, equipment and outdoor working areas. Clear or tinted PETG roof panels provide overhead cover while allowing natural light into the sheltered area.

Adaptable Side Bar Options

Side bars can be fitted at ground level, positioned with a small clearance or removed altogether where an open-sided structure is preferred.

The basic shelter section measures approximately 2,000 mm long × 1,500 mm wide, with a pitched roof height of approximately 2,150 mm at the front and 2,100 mm at the rear.

Bespoke Multi Walkway Solutions

The modular construction allows individual sections to be combined to create tunnel walkways, double-width or triple-width structures and larger covered areas.

PETG Roof Panel Options

Clear PETG or tinted PETG roof panels (available at an additional cost) provide overhead weather protection while allowing natural light into the sheltered area.

The system is manufactured from mild steel and designed for plate-mounted installation.

Multi Walkway Colour and Finish Options

Hot-Dip Galvanised Mild Steel

The shelter is manufactured from mild steel and hot‑dip galvanised to ISO 1461:2022, forming a fully bonded zinc coating across the steel — including internal surfaces and areas that surface‑applied treatments cannot reach. This process creates a durable zinc‑iron armour that delivers long‑term corrosion resistance and a low‑maintenance finish engineered for demanding environments.

Optional Powder-Coated Finish

Optional powder-coated colours are available in any standard RAL colour when a project requires a specific aesthetic. A powder-coated finish can help the Multi Walkway blend with its surroundings or complement organisational branding. Flat-Pack Multi Walkway Delivery

Multi Walkways are supplied as flat-pack kits with fixings, excluding ground anchors, for straightforward transportation, handling and on-site assembly.

As configurations can vary considerably, delivery requirements and timescales will depend on the size and arrangement selected.

Bolt-Down Installation

The plate-mounted design allows each section to be securely bolted to a suitable hard surface, providing a stable installation for long-term use.
