Galvanised SteelÂ

Skybond ACM Panels
Skybond consists of a low-density polyethylene core between 0.3 mm aluminium outer layers, with coated aluminium faces providing a durable surface for outdoor shelter use. Colours can be mixed across individual panels to coordinate with company branding, school or team colours, existing buildings or the surrounding environment, making Skybond ACM well-suited to environments where colour, identity and visual impact play an important role.

Skybond ACM is available in a range of colours with reversible matt and gloss faces, providing flexibility to select the colour and finish best suited to your project.

Galvanised Steel Panels
Galvanised mild steel sheet panels are manufactured from 1.6 mm DX51D galvanised steel to EN 10346. Unlike our shelters and bin stores, which are hot-dip galvanised after fabrication to ISO 1461:2022, the panels are manufactured from continuously hot-dip galvanised steel sheet, for which EN 10346 is the relevant standard. This provides corrosion protection and a durable, hard-wearing finish.
Natural Galvanised Appearance
In contrast to uniformly coloured panels, galvanised panels have subtle aesthetic differences, with tonal and pattern variations and a durable silver-grey metallic finish, creating a distinctive appearance that gains individuality through natural weathering and adds to its industrial character.

Panel Configuration
Clear UV2 PETG side panels are formed from a single sheet spanning the side of the shelter. Skybond ACM and Galvanised Steel side panels are formed from two sections, which overlap along the diagonal side bar. Across all panel options, individual panels can be replaced independently where required.
Care & Maintenance
The panel options used across Urbanfab shelters and bin stores are low maintenance, with routine cleaning helping to keep them looking their best. Clear UV2 PETG, Skybond ACM and Galvanised Steel panels can be cleaned using a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Abrasive cleaners and rough cleaning materials should be avoided to help protect the panel surfaces, while care during handling and installation helps prevent scratches or surface marks.
