Small Slimline Smoking Shelter for Space-Saving Protection
The Urbanfab Small Slimline Smoking Shelter provides a dedicated covered area for approximately 2–4 people. Its compact footprint makes it particularly useful where available space is limited, including narrow alleys, tight gaps between buildings and restricted areas where a conventional shelter may be unsuitable.
Small Slimline Smoking Shelter Weather Protection
Clear, high-impact UV-stable PETG rear and side panels provide dependable protection from changing weather conditions while maintaining excellent visibility around the shelter.
Small Slimline Smoking Shelter Compliance
The Small Slimline Smoking Shelter is supplied with half-height side panels to maintain an open-sided configuration when used as a smoking shelter. This supports compliance with UK requirements by ensuring the structure remains no more than 50% enclosed.
Robust Hot-Dip Galvanised Steel Construction
The Small Slimline Smoking Shelter is manufactured using a 50 × 25 mm RHS mild-steel frame with 5 mm hot-dip galvanised steel locking plates.
Hot‑dip galvanising to ISO 1461:2022 forms a fully bonded zinc coating across the mild steel, including areas that surface‑applied treatments cannot reach. This creates a durable zinc‑iron armour that delivers long‑term corrosion resistance and a low‑maintenance finish designed for demanding environments.
Bolt-Down Installation
The plate-mounted design allows the Small Slimline Smoking Shelter to be securely fixed to any suitable hard surface.
Modular Smoking Shelter Expansion
The modular design allows multiple Small Slimline Smoking Shelters to be linked together to create a larger covered area.
Small Slimline Smoking Shelter Finish Options
Hot-Dip Galvanised Finish
Many of our customers opt for the standard hot-dip galvanised finish. The mild steel is galvanised to ISO 1461:2022, providing durable corrosion resistance and long-term performance.
Optional Powder-Coated Finish
Optional powder-coated colours are available in any standard RAL colour when a project requires a specific aesthetic. A powder-coated finish can help the shelter blend within its surroundings or complement organisational branding. Please see the Duplex Protection information below for long-term investment benefits.
Selecting a powder-coated finish adds approximately 3–4 days to the lead time and will incur an additional cost. If you would like to discuss your colour choices or obtain a personalised quotation, please contact our team, who will be happy to help you choose the finish that suits your project.
Hand-Painted Finish
As a lower-cost alternative, customers can hand-paint the frame once assembled using a suitable fast-drying metal paint, with primer applied where required. The paint should be allowed to fully cure before fitting the PETG UV panels.
