The Urbanfab Multi Walkway is a modular covered walkway system with an adaptable design suitable for educational, industrial, commercial and residential environments, offering weather-sheltered protection for building-to-building routes, pedestrian walkways, covered equipment areas and other outdoor shelter requirements.

Flexible Side Bar Options

Side bars can be fitted at ground level, positioned with a small clearance, or omitted entirely where a fully open-sided structure is preferred. This allows each walkway configuration to be adapted to the requirements of the site and its intended use.

Covered Walkway Roof Panel Options

Clear UV2 PETG roof panels are UV-stabilised on both sides, providing durable overhead coverage while allowing natural light into the sheltered area. Tinted roof panels are also available at an additional cost, providing an alternative appearance where preferred.

Hot-Dip Galvanised Steel Construction

The Multi Walkway features a 50 × 25 mm RHS mild-steel frame, providing a strong, low-maintenance structure designed for long-term outdoor use.

The mild-steel components are hot-dip galvanised after fabrication to ISO 1461:2022, providing durable corrosion protection and a low-maintenance finish. For more information about hot-dip galvanising and why we specify it, see our Why Hot-Dip Galvanising page.

Galvanised and Powder-Coated Finish Options

Many customers opt for the standard hot-dip galvanised finish to ISO 1461:2022. Optional powder coating is available in any standard RAL colour where a particular aesthetic, organisational colour scheme or project requirement is preferred. Applied over the galvanised steel, powder coating creates a duplex finish, combining the corrosion protection of hot-dip galvanising with a coloured external finish. Powder coating is available at additional cost and typically adds approximately 3–4 days to the lead time.

Flat-Pack Multi Walkway Delivery

Multi Walkways are supplied as flat-pack kits with the required frame and panel fixings for on-site assembly.

Bolt-Down Installation

The plate-mounted design allows each walkway section to be securely fixed to a suitable hard surface. Ground anchors are not included as standard, as fixing requirements vary depending on the installation surface. We will contact you after ordering with ground-anchor options, available for a small additional cost.
